Psychosocial OT focuses on the mental, emotional, and social aspects of daily living. Rather than physical rehabilitation, I help you develop life skills, routines, coping strategies, and habits that support your mental health and overall well-being. It's especially helpful for managing neurodivergence and life transitions.
I do! Reach out to learn if I am credentialed with your insurance provider. If not, I also accept private pay clients with a sliding scale rate. I provide superbills at the end of each month that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Many clients receive partial or full reimbursement depending on their out-of-network benefits.
No! While I specialize in working with neurodivergent young adults, you don't need a formal diagnosis to benefit from occupational therapy. If you're struggling with executive function, routines, work-life balance, or adulting in general, I can help.
OT and therapy go really well together. While therapists focus on processing emotions and past experiences, occupational therapists focus on practical skills and strategies for daily living. I help you build routines, develop coping mechanisms, improve executive functioning, and create systems that work with your brain.
